Greetings from warm and sunny Jamaica! I am visiting family and being shown around the island. Today I was introduced to the managing librarian of the Science Library at the University of the West Indies, and we compared notes on the differences between university and public libraries.But what I really want to share today is this photo of the floor in the Miami airport terminal. Recognize the style? Although the floor is white, I was struck by the similarity to the floor in our own Central Library Galleria! I don't know if it was the same artist, but I intend to try and find out.
